A perfect wine storage solution, the Vin Garde Pommard stands out as a dual-temperature energy-efficient wine cooler with dimensions measuring H1800 x W595 x D688mm.

The beautifully presented cabinet is equipped with 2 sliding display shelves, 11 sliding full shelves and 1 sliding half shelf, offering an overall capacity for 160 bottles*.

The upper compartment can be set between 5°C and 12°C, while the lower compartment ranges from 12°C to 22°C.

In the upper compartment, you’ll find 1 sliding display shelf and 4 sliding full shelves, excellently accommodating up to 58 bottles. The lower compartment includes 1 sliding display shelf, 7 sliding full shelves and 1 half shelf, providing space for 102 bottles.

*Please note that bottle capacity of the Pommard wine cooler is based on standard Bordeaux-shaped bottles. Other bottle shapes may affect capacity.

Door Options:

The body of the wine coolers’ cabinet is black and there are two glass door options:-

A) Black frame full glass door (the glass covers the black frame of the door, producing an attractive glossy effect).

B) Stainless steel glass door

Please note that the stainless steel glass door models are 8mm shallower compared to the black-framed full glass doors.

Note: All Vin Garde full shelves can accommodate 11 Bordeaux bottles or 10 Burgundy bottles.

Vin Garde Pommard Wine Cooler / Wine Fridge Shelves

The sliding shelf boasts a sturdy metal base with a durable bottle-retention moulding. Its front features attractive beech wood. This metal base, at just 1mm thickness, ensures both strength and space efficiency, allowing for more shelves within the cabinet. This boosts the cabinet’s bottle capacity and provides extra room on each shelf for various bottle sizes; refer to the note below for details.

In models Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Beaune, both Full and Display Shelves can be installed. These wine coolers include a lower half shelf for two bottle layers. The display shelf accommodates up to 14 bottles, with 9 at the back (5 plus 4 stacked) and 5 at the front, angled for label visibility while keeping corks covered and bubbles resting lower down the bottle’s shoulder.

Vin Garde Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Beaune models Full Shelf 

The Full Shelf offers comfortable storage for various bottle shapes. It accommodates 11 Bordeaux, 10 Burgundy, or 10 Champagne bottles. Keep in mind that certain Champagne marques feature thicker bottles that may not fit on this shelf. In such cases, you can place them at the cabinet’s very bottom or remove one of the full shelves to create extra space, accommodating the thicker bottle shape.

Vin Garde Wine Cooler Shelves

The base of the sliding shelf is metal, upon which a highly durable moulding is fitted to keep the bottles in place.  The front of the shelf is a very attractive beech wood. By using a metal base, the shelf is extremely robust yet only 1mm thick, which enables more shelves to be fitted within the cabinet.  This increases the cabinet’s bottle capacity and allows more space on each shelf to accommodate different bottle sizes, please see the note below.

Full Shelves and Display Shelves can be fitted in the large and medium-sized models – Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Beaune. These models are all equipped with a half shelf at the bottom, upon which 2 layers of bottles can be stored. The display shelf accommodates 14 bottles. On the rear of the shelf you place 5 bottles, then another 4 bottles on top of the 5, making 9 in total at the rear of the shelf. At the front you place 5 bottles at a display angle, so you can see the label. The angle of the bottle ensures that the cork remains covered, with the bubble being well down the shoulder of the bottle.

Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Beaune models Full Shelf  

The Full Shelf has been designed to comfortably accommodate most bottle shapes. It will store 11 Bordeaux shaped bottles, 10 Burgundy bottles or 10 Champagne bottles. Please note that some Champagne marques have extremely thick bottles which will not fit on the full shelf.  To accommodate such bottles you can place them at the very bottom of the cabinet or remove one of the full shelves to create more headroom to fit the thicker bottle shape.

Delivery

DELIVERY – For models held in stock, we can arrange delivery within 5 working days to postcodes in mainland England and Wales.  For Scotland and islands, please contact our office for a delivery quotation. On receipt of your order our delivery service will contact you to propose a delivery date within 5 working days and on the day of delivery the driver will call you when about 1 hour away from you.

Our two-man delivery team will deliver the cabinet to the location required and remove the packaging. You can switch on the cabinet once it has settled in place for 2 hours (to protect the compressor after moving the cabinet).

Delivery does not include fitting the cabinet into furniture and if a third man or lifting equipment is required, this will be chargeable.
