General
The Vin Garde Beaune wine cooler is an all-purpose dual temperature model known also as a dual zone wine cooler. The cabinet gives you the flexibility to install it either as a built-in or a free-standing appliance.

Comes equipped with 2 sliding display shelves, 10 sliding horizontal full shelves and 1 sliding half base shelf with a capacity for 149 bottles*
The upper compartment can be set between 5 -12°C, the lower compartment 12 – 22°C
Upper compartment = 1 sliding display shelf + 5 sliding horizontal full shelves = 69 bottles
Lower compartment = 1 sliding display shelf + 5 sliding horizontal full shelves + 1 sliding half base shelf = 80 bottles
Door Options:
Customise your Beaune with a choice of either a black framed full glass door or a stylish stainless steel framed glass door. Whichever door option you select, the finish undoubtedly complements the sleek black body of the cabinet.

Stainless steel glass door
You have the option to upgrade to a seamless stainless steel framed glass door, available for an additional £80.00 including VAT. The full glass door models have a slightly greater depth, measuring 8mm more than the stainless steel glass doors.
Note: Vin Garde full shelves are specifically designed to provide ample space for storing either 11 Bordeaux bottles or 10 Burgundy bottles with ease.

Vin Garde Wine Cooler Shelves
The sliding shelf boasts a strong metal base with durable bottle-retention moulding, while the front showcases an attractive beech wood finish. Its 1mm-thick metal base ensures robustness and space efficiency, enabling more shelves for increased bottle capacity. This design creates ample space on each shelf to fit various bottle sizes. Full Shelves and Display Shelves
Large and medium-sized models like Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Beaune offer both Full Shelves and Display Shelves options. These models include a bottom half shelf for two bottle layers. The display shelf can hold up to 14 bottles, with 9 at the rear (5 plus 4 stacked) and 5 at the front, angled for label visibility while preserving cork coverage and positioning the air bubble lower on the bottle’s shoulder.
Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Beaune models Full Shelf
The Full Shelf is designed for versatility, comfortably storing 11 Bordeaux, 10 Burgundy, or 10 Champagne bottles. Please be aware that some Champagne brands feature thicker bottles that may not fit on this shelf. In such instances, you can place them at the cabinet’s bottom or remove one full shelf to create extra space for accommodating these thicker marques.

Optimal Installation for Beune Wine Cabinets
When it comes to installing Vin Garde wine cabinets, proper placement and ventilation are crucial for optimal performance. Here’s some help on how to achieve both functionality and aesthetics:
Recess Dimensions
For Beune models, the recommended dimensions of the recess are a minimum of W635 x D718* x H1715mm. These dimensions allow the cabinet to sit comfortably away from the wall at the rear and a sufficient aperture above the cabinet, ensuring adequate ventilation for the unit.
* Minimum depth requirement to allow at least a 30mm ventilation gap behind the cabinet.
Door Handles and Hinge Allowance
With Vin Garde cabinets, a minimum gap of 20mm is required on either side of the wine cabinet. This allows you to grip the recessed handle on one side and for the door to swing unhindered on the other side. These gaps either side of the wine cabinet can be filled with matching panels to your surrounding furniture but the edge of these panels must be sufficiently set back from the front of the wine cabinet to allow access to the recessed door handle and for the cabinet hinges to operate. They should be set back level with the edge of the cabinet.
If multiple cabinets are being installed adjacent to each other, the same requirements apply, but where possible, between the cabinets, these infill panels do not need to be the full depth of the wine cabinets as the panels are for aesthetic purposes only and a more shallow panel will further assist ventilation. Reduce the depth of the infill panels as much as is possible without risking strength and rigidity.

Wall or Furniture Aperture
To help achieve sufficient ventilation, it’s essential to create an aperture above the cabinet, in the wall or surrounding furniture. We recommend at least 100mm from the top of the cabinet.
Decorative Grille
In some cases, you can fit a decorative grille, however this may restrict ventilation in some instances. A grille can serve the dual purpose of concealing the aperture and enhancing the overall aesthetics of the installation. Please note that grilles are not included with the cabinet.
By incorporating these installation guidelines, you can improve the chances that your Beune wine cabinet will ventilate adequately and also create an aesthetically pleasing and harmonious addition to your living space.

Vin Garde Wine Cooler Shelves
The base of the sliding shelf is metal, upon which a highly durable moulding is fitted to keep the bottles in place. The front of the shelf is a very attractive beech wood. By using a metal base, the shelf is extremely robust yet only 1mm thick, which enables more shelves to be fitted within the cabinet. This increases the cabinet’s bottle capacity and allows more space on each shelf to accommodate different bottle sizes, please see the note below.
Full Shelves and Display Shelves can be fitted in the large and medium-sized models – Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Beaune. These models are all equipped with a half shelf at the bottom, upon which 2 layers of bottles can be stored. The display shelf accommodates 14 bottles. On the rear of the shelf you place 5 bottles, then another 4 bottles on top of the 5, making 9 in total at the rear of the shelf. At the front you place 5 bottles at a display angle, so you can see the label. The angle of the bottle ensures that the cork remains covered, with the bubble being well down the shoulder of the bottle.
Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Beaune models Full Shelf
The Full Shelf has been designed to comfortably accommodate most bottle shapes. It will store 11 Bordeaux shaped bottles, 10 Burgundy bottles or 10 Champagne bottles. Please note that some Champagne marques have extremely thick bottles which will not fit on the full shelf. To accommodate such bottles you can place them at the very bottom of the cabinet or remove one of the full shelves to create more headroom to fit the thicker bottle shape.

DELIVERY – For models held in stock, we can arrange delivery within 5 working days to postcodes in mainland England and Wales. For Scotland and islands, please contact our office for a delivery quotation. On receipt of your order our delivery service will contact you to propose a delivery date within 5 working days and on the day of delivery the driver will call you when about 1 hour away from you.
Our two-man delivery team will deliver the cabinet to the location required and remove the packaging. You can switch on the cabinet once it has settled in place for 2 hours (to protect the compressor after moving the cabinet).
