The Vin Garde Volnay range of wine coolers and wine fridge cabinets consist of a luxurious series of tall large capacity appliances that can be either built-in or used as a free-standing standalone cabinet. The models throughout the range are suitable for both home and commercial use settings.
Compelling Presence
Consider pairing two Volnay 176 wine coolers with a combined capacity of 352 bottles. Side by side, one with a left door hinge and the other with a right door hinge, they become a dynamic duo with captivating character and a compelling presence.
Shelving Options
Three different shelving options are available, depending on the number of ‘display shelves’ preferred. This, in turn, alters the bottle capacity. The options are Volnay 120, Volnay 168 and the Volnay 176.
The Volnay 176 wine fridge comes equipped with 15 sliding full shelves and 1 sliding half shelf, offering a capacity of 176 bottles. You have the choice between either a ‘full glass’ or stainless steel glass door, and furthermore, both options include LED lighting on the top and sides. Each shelf front is in solid beech wood.
Temperature Control
You have the flexibility to set the temperature between 5°C to 22°C.
Door Options
The cabinet comes in black with two glass door choices:
- Full glass door, which covers the black frame for a glossy effect.
- Stainless steel glass door.
Note that the black frame full glass door option is slightly deeper at 688mm, whereas the choice of the stainless steel glass door measures 680mm in depth.

Vin Garde Wine Cooler Shelves
Our wine cooler shelves feature a metal base with a sturdy moulding designed to securely hold your bottles in place. The front of each shelf boasts a beautiful beech wood finish. Thanks to the slim 1mm thickness of the metal base, our shelves are both robust and space-efficient, allowing you to fit more shelves in your cabinet. This not only increases the cabinet’s bottle capacity but also provides extra space on each shelf for various marques, please see the note below.
Full Shelves and Display Shelves can be fitted in the large and medium-sized models – Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Beaune. These models are all equipped with a half shelf at the bottom, upon which 2 layers of bottles can be stored. The display shelf accommodates 14 bottles. On the rear of the shelf you place 5 bottles, then another 4 bottles on top of the 5, making 9 in total at the rear of the shelf. At the front you place 5 bottles at a display angle, so you can see the label. The angle of the bottle ensures that the cork remains covered, with the bubble being well down the shoulder of the bottle.
Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Beaune models Full Shelf
The Full Shelf has been designed to comfortably accommodate most bottle shapes. It will store 11 Bordeaux shaped bottles, 10 Burgundy bottles or 10 Champagne bottles. Please note that some Champagne marques have extremely thick bottles which will not fit on the full shelf. To accommodate such bottles you can place them at the very bottom of the cabinet or remove one of the full shelves to create more headroom to fit the thicker bottle shape.
Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and Beaune Half Shelves
Due to the positioning of the compressor, the bottom shelf is a half shelf which holds 11 bottles (10 Burgundy or Champagne).

DELIVERY – For models held in stock, we can arrange delivery within 5 working days to postcodes in mainland England and Wales. For Scotland and islands, please contact our office for a delivery quotation. On receipt of your order our delivery service will contact you to propose a delivery date within 5 working days and on the day of delivery the driver will call you when about 1 hour away from you.
Our two-man delivery team will deliver the cabinet to the location required and remove the packaging. You can switch on the cabinet once it has settled in place for 2 hours (to protect the compressor after moving the cabinet).
